How Claude and Judy Grew Their Landscaping Business With Breakthrough Academy and LMN.

When Claude and Judy Kolk started Kayben Landscaping in Okotoks, Alberta, they relied on a lot of hustle. As the business grew, they found themselves struggling to find clients and keep good employees. The company was growing, but at an unsustainable rate. They needed a better way to operate.

“Our challenges were like many other companies,” says Judy. “They were things like hustling for work and hustling for people.” While at first they focused on finding the right people, they quickly realized that without good systems, those people won’t stick around.

In four years, Kayben Landscaping transformed. Their annual revenue more than doubled, jumping from $1.7 million to an incredible $3.5 million. The team also grew from 16 to 33 people.
